In the modern world our lives are becoming increasing sedentary. Many of us have desk-based roles that entail periods of prolonged sitting known as sedentary behaviour. The world health organisation recently highlighted sedentary behaviour and its associated risks as the 5 leading factor in early mortality.
This short online course is designed to provide employers with a simple way to educate there staff on the risks of sedentary behaviour and provide tips and how to achieve the recommended amount of movement into working days.

Against this context, the Move More at Work course provides a way to achieve these goals without the expense of sit/stand desks.
The course raises the awareness of the health risks associated with physical inactivity and sedentary behaviour. Then a range of free or low-cost methods of introducing more movement in the workplace are presented, helping to safeguard staff health and boost productivity at the same time.
Is there an assessment?
Yes. At the end of the course there is a short 10 question assessment. After successfully completing the assessment learners are automatically emailed their Move More at Work certificate.
Can I assign this course to colleagues?
